These terms govern your use of citedbrands.com, citedbrands.co.za, the free Brand Scorecard tool, the SA AI Citation Index report, and any paid Cited Brands subscription services (collectively, "the Services").
1. Acceptance
By using the Services you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
2. Free Brand Scorecard
We publish brand scorecards as research output. The scorecards are accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the publication date but are not a guarantee of any commercial outcome. If you believe a scorecard contains an error, please use the "Request a correction" form on the page.
3. Paid subscriptions
Paid Cited Brands subscriptions are governed by your individual Master Services Agreement with us. In case of conflict between these public terms and a signed MSA, the MSA controls.
4. Brand mentions and trademarks
Where we name third-party brands on this site, we do so for purposes of comment, criticism, research, and reporting, in line with section 12 of the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 and nominative trademark fair use. Trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. To request a correction or removal of incorrect data, please use the per-page form or contact legal@citedbrands.co.za.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by SA law, our liability arising from or in connection with the Services is limited to (a) for free Services, ZAR 0; (b) for paid Services, fees paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers and via the site footer.
